Northern vs Tamla was an idea we have had for a while
and what with this being the 50th anniversary of Motown, what a better way to celebrate it. Bringing the old time classics
back which have influenced music over the years so greatly. At this current time we are holding two events a month,
one at the Royal Hotel in Scunthorpe and the other at the Elms in Retford. Not since the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe and
the Broken Wheel and Half Moon in Retford has there been an event of this size.
With one event down at each venue, it's clear to see
that there is still a massive following and demand for this type of thing. With the all time classic Motown hits spun
by resident Disciple DJ Shrek and the timeless sounds of Northern and its many variations spun by Disciple DJ Skip, it sets
up J.C (yes thats jesus Christ) himself to unite the musicical styles together with his own blend and over 40 years experience
DJing across the country.
